When planning your team's capacity, Allfred gives you an immediate, at-a-glance understanding of:

  • The intended budget for the task's completion.

  • Progress made so far (tracked hours).

  • All future commitments (other allocations).

  • The effect of your current allocation decision.

  • Any remaining hours yet to be allocated or any excess (left to allocate/over budget)

All the information is gathered in a comprehensive tooltip that shows the following data:

  1. Task Budgeted:

    • This represents the total number of hours allocated for a specific task within the project’s scope.

  2. Tracked:

    • Displays the actual number of hours already tracked to the chosen task.

  3. Other Allocations:

    • Shows planned hours for the task that are part of not-completed allocations, scheduled for today or in the future.

  4. This Allocation:

    • Indicates the hours you are currently going to allocate to the task at hand.

  5. Total Allocated:

    • Summary of hours allocated to the task, considering all incomplete allocations scheduled for today or in the future (others allocations + this allocation hours).

  6. Left to Allocate/Over Budget:

    • Provides a quick summary of remaining hours to be allocate to fulfill the task's budget, or signals if the task has exceeded the budgeted hours.

By leveraging this improved insight into allocation metrics, you can make more informed decisions regarding resource distribution and project timelines.
