In Allfred, a PDF Budget is essentially a Quote - a structured financial document generated from a Budget or Proposal and sent to the client for approval. Each quote features a cover page with a unique ID and includes all key financial details required for approval.
The cover page provides an overview of the project name and total value, while the following pages break down specific details. Clients can approve, reject, or download the quote directly from Allfred.
How to download a PDF budget?
1️⃣ Navigate to the Quotes section → Budgets or Project detail → Budgets
2️⃣ Hover over a budget and click +Quote. If a Quote (PDF) already exists, simply click on the generated Quote ID.
3️⃣ A new tab will open, displaying the Quote Preview (left side) and Quote Settings (right side).
4️⃣ Configure the settings (see detailed options below).
5️⃣ Click Preview to update the quote view and ensure it matches your requirements.
6️⃣ Click Download to export the quote as a PDF.
7️⃣ Click Save to store the quote.
(Optional)
8️⃣ Select "Save settings for workspace" to apply these settings to all future quotes.
9️⃣ Click Send to send the quote directly to the client.
Once saved, the quote receives an automatically generated Quote Number, which can be referenced in purchase orders. This quote number is also displayed in the budget details for quick access.
