Project Billings & Profit Report

The Project Billings & Profit Report compares billings in the selected period to the generated profit of each project. This report breaks down all revenue streams, providing detailed insights into the financial performance of your projects.

You can access the Project Billings & Profit Report via Reports -> Project Billings & Profit.

Navigation in Project Billings & Profit Report

  1. Selecting the Time Frame

  • Use the arrows to switch between months or click on the button for the month to set a custom time frame.

  • Allfred will display billing data for projects that were active for at least one day within the selected period, based on the date of supply on invoices.

2. Searching for Projects

  • Using the search field, you can search for projects by brand, code, project name, etc.

3. Filtering Projects

  • Use filters to narrow down the data you need. You can filter by client, brand, team, project manager, project category, or status (active/finished/archived).

Project Billings & Profit Summary

  • Left Side: Shows the total invoiced numbers and share by brand and client for the selected period.

  • Right Side: Displays the total profit and profit share by brand for the displayed projects.

Detailed Overview and Breakdown

The main table provides detailed data for each project within the selected time range. Each project has data in two rows: the upper row for billings details and the bottom row for profit details.

Billings are displayed based on supply dates in selected time range. Profit is calculated as an actual profit of closed budget items. In the case of work profit is calculated as the invoiced amount minus internal costs and Work expenses.

Here is a breakdown of the columns:

  • Work Invoiced / Actual Profit: Invoiced amount of work budget items compared to actual profit on work.

  • Production Invoiced / Production Profit: Invoiced amount of production budget items compared to production profit on closed budget items.

  • Media Invoiced / Media Profit: Invoiced amount of media budget items compared to media profit on closed budget items.

  • Royalties Invoiced / Royalties Profit: Invoiced amount of royalties budget items compared to royalties profit on closed budget items.

  • Total Invoiced / Total Profit: Compares total invoiced amounts for work, production, media, and royalties with Profit generated from those categories.

  • Gross Income: Sum of work invoiced plus production, media, and royalties profits.

  • Share Billings / Share Profit:

    • Upper Row: Percentage of total invoicing for the selected period and applied filters.

    • Bottom Row: Percentage of total profits for the selected period and applied filters.

Project Details View

When you hover over a project row and click on the "Show details" button, a detailed project summary is displayed. This summary breaks down the invoiced amounts and net profit by categories such as work, production, media, and royalties. It also shows the net margin for each category and the overall gross income.


Brand Billings & Profit Report

The Brand Billings & Profit Report is an essential tool for comparing billings to the generated profit of each brand or client. This report breaks down all revenue streams, providing detailed insights into the financial performance of your brands.

You can access the Brand Billings & Profit Report via Reports -> Brand Billings & Profit.

  1. Selecting the Time Frame

  • Using the search field, you can search for brands by name or client name.

4. Grouping Brands by Client

  • You have the option to group brands by client, providing an overview one level higher. The Group button is located next to the time frame selection.

Brand Details View

When you hover over a brand row and click on the "Show details" button, Allfred will automatically link you to the Project Billings and Profit Report with filtered projects for that particular brand or client.
