What is the minimized allocation modal in Allfred?

While creating a new allocation in Planning, you may want to scroll through the timeline or review existing workloads. To make this easier, Allfred allows you to minimize the allocation modal into a compact bar located in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

This feature helps you review planned work while and before confirming a new allocation.

How do I minimize the Capacity Allocation modal?

In the top-right corner of the allocation modal (next to the ❌ close button), you’ll see a minimize icon.
Clicking it will collapse the modal and move it to the bottom-right corner of your screen.

What can I do while the modal is minimized?

  • Scroll through Planning to check other allocations or team capacity.

  • Switch to different sections of Allfred — the minimized modal will remain active.

  • Reopen the modal at any time by clicking on it.

  • Save your allocation directly once you return to the modal.

Can I minimize multiple allocation modals?

No — only one allocation modal can be minimized at a time.
If you try to open a new one while another is minimized, Allfred will ask if you want to:

  • Discard the current unsaved allocation, or

  • Return to the existing minimized modal to finish it.
