Credit accounts (deposited money)

Credit accounts are usually used when the client wants to deposit money as credit which will be spent later on. You can use credit on all categories or just select, Please note more info below.

To create and use a credit account for deposited money, follow these steps:

Creating an Invoice To create an invoice for the client, follow the same procedure as when issuing an invoice via the Finance > Add new > Invoice section or directly from the details of a specific project.

Fill in all the required data and proceed to the second step (Fig. 1).

Second Step of Invoicing 

In contrast to the standard procedure for creating an invoice, when creating a credit account, you need to click on the "+Add prepayment" button and then select "Choose credit account > New credit account > Enter the amount and name" (Fig. 2).

Third Step of Invoicing

Continue with the regular invoice creation process (enter dates, items, etc.). The invoice will be displayed in the Outgoing invoices section and simultaneously in the Credit accounts list (Fig. 3).

How to Utilize a Credit Account? To use a credit account, follow these steps:

In the Project detail, select the budget item for which you want to utilize the credit (Fig. 4).

Click on the corresponding amount and choose "Get credit." (Fig. 5).

Select the Credit account and enter the desired amount (Fig. 6).

After adding the credit, the budget item's amount will be updated and increased by the value drawn from the Credit account (Fig. 7).

If you wish to return the credit, select the "Return credit" option, and it will be credited back to the credit account (Fig. 8).

Credit Transfer There are two options for credit transfer

You have 2 options where to transfer credit. To find the selection, go to Finance section > Credit accounts > select desired credit account > click on Transfer credit (Fig. 9).Fig. 8


Transfer to Project: This allows you to attribute the credit to another project within the same brand/client (Fig. 9).Fig. 9


Transfer to Credit Account: This enables you to attribute the credit to another account within the same brand (Fig. 10).
